Lifting My Head, Looking Around Inside

Congratulations to my fellow Houstonian, Mr. Kalum Tuggle, for correctly naming "Pancho and Lefty" by Townes Van Zandt as the Monday Song of the Day.

This will probably be my last regular post for the next two weeks until that joyous occasion known as the Texas Bar Exam finishes up on the 30th.

Over and out, and I'll see you on the other side.

Loved "Pistol"...Press Maravich is one of the most interesting characters I've ever read about.

Good luck with the bar, I'm sure you're sick of hearing this, but you'll pass.

First, let me express my commiseration. Thankfully, Maryland doesn't have this weirdo third day that Texas does, so I'll be thinking about you on the 30th while I don't test.

Second, are you really going to go that hard core? You've never struck me as an "I'm going to disappear in my little hole for two weeks and come out on the other side" kinda guy. Maybe you are, but the determination you showed in posting for 2,632 days in a row made me think otherwise.

Then again, you're taking the Texas bar, complete with comparative fault, a dead man's statute, MPC-style criminal laws, and some weird third day. Maybe next time you should try the Maryland bar.

Good luck, friend-o.

You'll be fine on the third day. That's why you went to Baylor.
