Tried Yesterday to Get Away and Hitchhiked to the Beach

It's Opening Day for America's Pastime, the Rangers are wearing red uniforms to start the year, and the first 10,000 kids through the turnstiles today in Arlington get complimentary Josh Hamilton forearm tattoos.
What a day, my friends!!!

Paralleling your comment on JAT...Did you know that Josh Hamilton used to do illegal drugs?
Really, but he's changed his life and is a good guy now. Who would have thought, it's not like it's been written or talked about non-stop since last season.

But for reals, go Josh, Go Rangers.

162-0, here we come!!

I'm sorry to disagree, Lance, but Pythagoras tells us that after yesterday's 9-1 rout, we can expect to lose 2 games this year. That said, 160-2, here we come!!

And C-in-C Scott, I thought you might be interested to know that by stalemating the Concord Rangers with a goal each on Saturday, the Yellow Shirts and Black Legs of East Thurrock United pulled into a tie with Aveley atop the ILD1N. Four more games left, including a biggie conclusion in Aveley on April 25. That one could very well decide who gets sure-thing promotion and who has to fight for it.

Lance,

This is the kind of cutting edge that I've come to expect from the JAT. Truly groundbreaking reporting, my friend.

Masten,

I'm not sure what some old Greek guy knows about the big leagues in 2009, but I think that by calling a 160-2 record the Rangers this year, you're really just breeding an atmosphere of mediocrity. I'm with Lance...162-0 or bust, ladies and gentlemen!!!

Also, good to hear things are humming along with the good lads of ETU. Let's go ahead and buy tickets for the 2019 matchup between Liverpool and ETU.

Buckle in- Josh "Sleeves" Hamilton is on the first episode of Homecoming, Reilly's new show. Sounds like it's gonna be sweet. Fridays at 8pm ET on ESPN2.

Was this the first commercial/advertisement comment you've ever had? I'm proud to be the first to sell out.

Luke,

Just as long you're not promoting "Who's Next/Now?", I'm fine with however you choose to utilize your allotted commenting space.

I think everyone here deserves to know that NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL MUSIC vol. 30 was released March 24, 2009, and can be purchased at Amazon.com! The widely respected artists featured on this latest entry in the hugely successful anthology phenomenon include the Pussycat Dolls, Taylor Swift, and everyone's favorite angst rockers, Nickelback!

We hope you'll excuse our inclusion of weirdo artists like John Legend and the All-American Rejects. Please rest assured that their songs were chosen because they are so catchy and danceable that we [audio splicing of All-American Rejects' chorus:] "hope it gives you hell!"

Is anything sacred in these dark times?

Has the comment section of "Running Down a Dream" become another place for all of you to hawk your wares like a rundown Turkish bazaar?

Have you no shame, Mr. Masten?
