I Am the Story That You'll Tell

Even though I am not a registered member of the Democratic Party, and the following writing does not mean that I will necessarily vote for either of these candidates if they run for U.S. President, I think I should shed some more light on the debate that Cole and I were having over the likely nominees for President in 2012. I realize that I am ignoring the candidates for the 2008 election, but right now none of the potential candidates really excite me in any way. I think that candidates like Sptizer and Obama have a real ability to generate excitement or opposition depending which side of the aisle you sit on. The voters of America want someone they can rally behind regardless of party, and I have this interesting feeling that these two are the kind that generate and keep people's interest.

Senator Obama's website can be found here and a link to Mr. Spitzer's website can be found here. This entire writing does not mean that I envisioning a move to the Democratic Party, but that I am beginning to notice the potential rise of these two figures to the forefront of American politics. I could not ignore these events as a responsible Poli-Sci major.

This morning Brandon and I began our period of running two-a-days. I am not really sure why we are doing this, and a large part of it may just be the male curiosity of seeing what you can do by pushing your body to its limits. We took a brisk 3.2 mile jog this morning, and I think we will push things out a little further tonight. I enjoy running with Brandon because he was an accomplished high-school runner and has a true appreciation for the intricacies and small joys in the sport. Even more than that, running seems to be one of the places that I do some of my best thinking and have my best conversations. I know that God will bless this time if I am open to what he has to teach me.

Spitzer? SPITZER?! Poor resume aside I would like to invite us all to imagine the possibility of welcoming a name like that into the oval office. "Um, excuse me, Mr. Spitzer, would you care to lead the free world today?!" Perish the thought! And Obama? more like O-bore-ma that guy is better at pulling the race card than blackjack from Oceans 11. Ladies and gentelman can we in fact, using the words of my friend and confidant Scotty J., "get real" and just say what is on everyone elses mind. Ted Kennedy is the only reasonable canidate for 2012. Not only will he do a fine job of finally contining the great legacy of the Kennedy family and lead this great nation back to the greatness that has been somewhat fleeting since the bay of pigs fiasco plunged us head long into the cold war for good, but he will also be able to accomplish many domestic advances that have long escaped many of our nations leaders. Such as the first ever AA meetings held in the West wing, Health breaks on all government officials needing liver transplants, and mandated happy hour at federal building accross the US. I believe the campaign slogan would be "Teddy Kennedy...come on, you know you want to."

"Sex Machine" Sessions-

Let me guess the next thing is that you are gonna try to convience us that the University of Washington will win the football national championship this year. Ted Kennedy could possible be the worst citizen of the United States. My Canididate, Mr. Barack Obama, has already suffered enough. His race has been humiliated throughout the years in American History, and you say to the world that Ted Kennedy should be nominated for president. That is a slap in the face to the African American race. OBAMA WILL SCHOOL YOUR MAMA!!!! how about that for a campaign slogan.

Oh no you didn't

Dear Mr. Griff

If you want to pull the race card and talk about the UW in the same response I will just snap. So here we go. The UW is first and only D1 school to employ an African American as head coach in both football and basketball. And yes they will win a national championship under Willingham, you want to know why? Because he is smart, and smarts wins football, just ask Brian Bosthworth, the antithesis of smart and the antithesis of a good linebacker, I would know my seahawks squandered a decade on him. And do you know how I know that T. Willingham is smart? I'll tell you, because I can't understand the big words he uses when he gives interviews. Not only could Willingham beat both Brown and Fullmer in a street fight but he probably reads better, got a higher score on both the SAT and ACT and uses big wrods. KaBlam! thats smart! I'm so mad I should stop typing, Im going to go clean varment feaces at Petco for minimum wage. TEDDY K!

Dear Dave and Justin,

Besides endorsing Obama, the only thing on Fulmer's mind after the last comment is crushing Ty Willingham and Mack Brown in a street fight. All he has to do is sit on them both and they will die. Die just like the Republican Party in 2012 because of Obama.

Personally I thing Obama has a good chance of running in 2008. I've never even heard of Spitzer, therefore I must accept that he doesn't exist and that Justin Scoot has made up this fictional person in order to rouse a deebate. Without school going on, he doesn't have a chance to debate against the political mids of ACU such as Jonathan Wacktor. Justin is a lonely debater with no one to argue against. Spitzer is actually an allegory for Justin spitting in the face of the Rebublican party. You heard it here first.

Jimbo, Sessy D, and Pope Coleman Greer,

I will remind you all of what Sideshow Bob (a.k.a. Brandon Maenius) said on "The Simpsons."

"No child has ever meddled with the Republican Party and lived to tell about it."

I'm a Republican Because...

I BELIEVE the strength of our nation lies with the individual and that each person’s dignity, freedom, ability and responsibility must be honored.

I BELIEVE in equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, creed, sex, age or disability.

I BELIEVE free enterprise and encouraging individual initiative have brought this nation opportunity, economic growth and prosperity.

I BELIEVE government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn.

I BELIEVE the proper role of government is to provide for the people only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations and that the best government is that which governs least.

I BELIEVE the most effective, responsible and responsive government is government closest to the people.

I BELIEVE Americans must retain the principles that have made us strong while developing new and innovative ideas to meet the challenges of changing times.

I BELIEVE Americans value and should preserve our national strength and pride while working to extend peace, freedom and human rights throughout the world.

FINALLY, I believe the Republican Party is the best vehicle for translating these ideals into positive and successful principles of government.

I think the anonymous poster is Woolsey.

Also, they misquoted the Republican creed. It actually states, "I BELIEVE in equal rights except for homos..."
