I've Been Waiting For This Moment All My Life
I'm not sure how confident fans of the Spurs are right now regarding the 2008-2009 season seeing as though their coach looks a cross between Michael Bluth and a post "San Diego, go $%#@ yourself," Ron Burgundy.
"It's so hot, this blue blazer was a bad choice."

Which song? one by phil collins or the silversuns pickups?
in the air tonight-- phil collins. that song gets stuck in my head.
i appreciate the incorporation of the Spurs, Michael Bluth or Arrested Development, and Anchorman all in one blog. fantastic, sir...
Tim,
Silversun Pickups did a cover of "In the Air Tonight"?
No, Silversun Pickups sing Lazy Eye, which has that lyric in it!!
I learn new things everyday. Thanks Katrina.
The inspiration for the song came from the fact that the ACU Band (The Big Purple for the uninitiated) played a series of Phil Collins songs during their halftime show on Saturday. Apparently Abilene is stuck in the year 1981.
This Spurs fan is very confident regarding the 2008-2009 season, particularly since Popp looks like a cross between Michael Bluth and Ron Burgundy. I'm not worried that Manu is out until December. 2009 is an odd-numbered year, and that's about all anybody needs to know.
